Tjaša Pogačar Podgornik je leta 2014 diplomirala na Akademiji za likovno umetnost in oblikovanje v Ljubljani. Od leta 2010 deluje kot ustvarjalka in kritičarka sodobne umetnosti. Do danes je organizirala več raziskovalnih projektov, predavanj in seminarjev s področja sodobne umetnosti, kot so na primer simpozij “Kako misliti avtonomne strukture znotraj univerze?”(2010) in projekt “Razstavne Politike” leta 2012. Istega leta je skupaj z Andrejem Škufco v Muzeju sodobne umetnosti v Ljubljani pričela s serijo pogovorov o izbranih delih sodobne umetnosti (“Branje del”), ki se še danes odvija po mnogih drugih institucijah po Sloveniji. Je tudi članica projekta Neteorit, zunanja sodelavka revije Praznine in soustanoviteljica ter so-urednica revije za kritiko in teorijo sodobne umetnosti ŠUM (sumrevija.wordpress.com). Besedila s področja sodobne umetnosti je objavljala v časopisu Tribuna in reviji Likovne Besede, od septembra 2014-marca 2015 pa je skupaj z Izidorjem Baršijem, Kajo Kraner in Andrejem Škufco pisala za spletno platformo projekta evropske konfederacije muzejev L’Internationale. Sodelovala je na več skupinskih razstavah med drugim na Ideja za življenje, 6. Trienale sodobne umetnosti U3, Moderna Galerija Ljubljana (2010); For love not money, The 15th Tallinn Print Triennial, Tallinn, Estonia (2011); 4.4., Galerija Škuc, Ljubljana (2013); Prožnost, 7. Trienale sodobne umetnosti U3, MSUM, Ljubljana (2013) in se samostojno predstavila leta 2014 v galeriji Alkatraz v Ljubljani.
Tjaša Pogačar graduated in 2014 from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Since 2010 she works as artist and critic in the field of contemporary art. She co-founded Project BOKS, an autonomous student platform for contemporary art that was also presented at the 6th triennial of contemporary art in Slovenia U3:idea for Living curated by Charles Esche in 2010. Since then she has co-organized numerous research projects, lectures and seminars in the field of contemporary art theory, such as for example the symposium entitled »How to Think Autonomous Structures within the University?« and the project Exhibition Politics (2012). In 2012 she started a series of talks on contemporary works of art (Reading Works) from the collection Arteast 2000+ and the national collection of Modern Gallery (MG) and Museum of Contemporary art Metelkova (MSUM) in Ljubljana. She is also part of the project Neteorit – a self-organized program of lectures, talks and debates related to art, theory and politics that take place in MG and MSUM since 2013. In 2013 she exhibited at the 7th triennial of contemporary art in Slovenia U3: Resilliance in the Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova (MSUM). She publishes articles on contemporary art in the newspaper Tribuna and the magazine Likovne Besede and also collaborates with the magazine Praznine as a writer and corespondent. Since September 2014 she writes a blog for the online platform L’Internationale together with Izidor Barši, Kaja Kraner and Andrej Škufca. She is the founder and member of the editorial board of the journal for contemporary art criticism and theory Šum.
